I have a Yamaha amplifier and would like to bi-wire my main speakers, what is the best way of doing so?
On most of our current range the easiest way to bi-wire your speakers is via the two pairs of main speaker terminals marked ‘A’ and ‘B’. Using banana plugs is the easiest way to connect the speaker wires to the unit in this case. Set ‘A’ should go to the higher frequency speaker cones, while set ‘B’ to the lower frequency cones. You must ensure that on the front panel of the amp the ‘A’ and ‘B’ toggle switches need to be set on. Some models have the option to bi-amp the speakers. This can be done by enabling the bi-amp option in the advanced setup menu and connecting the speakers to both the front and surround back speaker terminals on the amp.
